Join the urban uprising, leave the gas guzzlers in the driveway and cycle into the bike friendly city of Akron. Map out your route on the famous Tow Path trail, bike the blue line - a scenic course through Downtown Akron and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, bike out to Peninsula and ride back via train on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad and enjoy the sights and sounds of downtown criterium racing at its best.

We took a bunch of our favorite places to ride, tossed 'em together... & what cha know...it's a masterpiece! Here's how we do it: - We slap a smokin' hot course in front of you and entice you to go fast with outrageous prizes - Chipotle Burritos, Monster Energy Drink and Hammer Nutrition, Marathon Protein Bars, Cliff Mojo, Raw Revolution for all racers! It's that simple - the rest is up to you!

The most anticipated, yet feared race series is back with a vengeance on July 10th. Up for grabs... a totally custom - Groovy Cycleworks frame and fork. It's all part of the "it's a Groovy MTBR Race Series" at Vulture's Knob. Plus...we're throwing down a extra bonus race after the race!

WOO TOWN SINGLE SPEED CLASSIC - Immediately following the Groovy Cycleworks cross country race awards ceremony we will be holding a fun filled, action packed, zany single speed short track mountain bike race.
This event showcases the simplicity and purity of rock'n the single cog! But can you handle the twist and turns the mighty Vulture's Knob might, will, or for sure throw your way.

The annual VKnob Woo Town Single Speed Champion will be crowned at the closing ceremony/party and will hold this distinguished award for 1 year, but will be remembered forever. Up for grabs... the annual Big Mofo Trophy, your name laser cut into a piece of stainless and tacked on from year to year. - so you don't want to give it back...you must return the next year to defend your title or lose the Big Mofo revolving Trophy to a new champion.
