331 Crew Duties: Keeping track of open-riding participants at Vulture's Knob and making sure they are included in our mailings (when they ask to be). Looking for ways to improve the rider experience by implementing course changes and or adding features to our trails. On race day, you can find Mike working registration, getting things in order for the post-race party and awards ceremony as well pumping-up the racers while readying themselves to do battle.

Mikes focus for the upcoming seasons will be to create a gravity racing scene at Vulture's Knob. We are building several new courses; dual slalom, downhill and even a slope-style run are in the works. We plan on adding dirt jump lines, a pump track and freeride features such as wall rides, huge drops and north-shore style stunts. These courses won't only be used for competition, but will be available during open riding and also serve as training grounds for the areas young, aspiring gravity competitors.

Mike began racing mountain bikes at the inaugural Camp Manatoc race in 1995. He continued as an expert level competitor for several years until the demands of training became too time consuming. He'll still lines up with the best in the area on the rare occasion, but focuses instead on building trails, riding for fun and helping produce the best damn race series in Ohio.
