The Mini Downhill Series

The VK DH Grand Opening was held on May 1 2011: Currently two trails are open. Both start from the same trail head, midway down trail there are two optional lines, 1) advanced 2) intermediate - both trails will converge at the same finishing line. A push up lane exists next to the trails.

The DH schedule for the 2012 is still in the works. Complete up to date schedule of events can always be found on the event "race" page. See the races tab in the menu system.

The Project

Get ready! Hang on! It's happening! We here at Vulture's Knob are currently working on creating a complete gravity mountain bike scene! The initial stages of this project are underway. Our plans include the construction of dual slalom and downhill race courses, a skills area, multiple jump lines and other features that will be designed for beginners to pro level competitors alike.

The pictures at the right were taken on a mild November weekend in 2010. We took advantage of the great weather to get a jump start on the construction.
